In-Home
Individualized therapy will be provided in the comfort of your home at a convenient time for you and your family. Home-based sessions allow children to learn in their natural environment. Parents and caregivers have the opportunity to be highly involved in their child's therapy program.

Teletherapy
Individualized therapy is provided virtually using the Zoom platform on a computer or tablet device. Technology is used to enhance therapy in order to deliver high-quality services. Teletherapy sessions are very similar to traditional face-to-face sessions, and can be just as effective.

Areas of Specialization
Speech Sound Disorders
Receptive and Expressive Language
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Children may have difficulty producing certain speech sounds which can impact their ability to be understood. A child may present with an articulation disorder, phonological disorder, or both.

Receptive language delays/disorders impact a child's ability to process and/or comprehend spoken language. Expressive language delays/disorders impact a child's ability to produce language for a variety of communicative functions.
Autism is a neurotype characterized by differences in sensory needs, communication skills, play styles, and/or behavior. Therapy involves a strengths-based approach and always incorporates a child's unique interests.

Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
Gestalt Language Processing / Delayed Echolalia
AAC refers to all forms of communication other than oral speech. AAC includes communicating using signs, picture/symbol boards, as well as electronic speech generating devices, such as an iPad.
Children who are Gestalt Language Processors (GLPs) often communicate with delayed echolalia/scripting. Using the Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) Framework, therapy can help guide GLPs to self-generated (original, flexible) language.
